Just thinking about something a little more fun to talk about... So what are some of your card-pull stories out there iMtG?

For me, it's when I opened the second to last pack in my M12 box to find a Jace and a foil Gideon... Happy dance was done

To be fair, that sorta thing always happens to me, I've always been the lucky jerk among my friends in this regard! >.<

Recently in fact! In my Innistrad box, around the middle I pulled {Liliana of the Veil}, {Garruk Relentless} and a foil {Slayer of the Wicked}. I was STOKED!!!

I blogged about it and got much praise only then to find a $400 electricity bill in the mail. ðŸ˜±

The best pack I opened recently was the prize of fnm where while saying you have a chance to open 3 rares I opened the green black land the transforming vampire then a foil green and black land

Last pack in my innistrad booster box was the best pack I will ever open. Had liliana garruk relentless and foil snapcaster. I opened with a couple buddies and we all lost it. I never expected to get all those cards in my box and got all 3 in one pack. I'll never forget that pack..

I was happy to pull a Sword of Feast and Famine from one of those deck builder boxes recently......but I would flip out if I pulled Garrak, Liliana, and a Snapcaster in one booster. I hope Magic maintains replacing the foils and mythic rares in common slots.

Just pulled a {Snapcaster Mage} and finally got my vamp I wanted {Bloodline Keeper}. I also got my second {Skaab Ruinator}, thinkin blue/green self mil would be fun with that guy......idk tho a splash of black with {Buried Alive} would help as well.

I just heard from a store owner (who opens LOTS of boosters for resale) that the "chase rares" are more frequent in Fat packs. This has been his experience from opening dozens and dozens of boxes of booster cards. I'm still doubtful though.

What is a "chase rare"? I did get one of those 9 booster fat boxes if that is what your talking about. I just bought 7 boosters and I think I got better pulls from regular boosters. Obviously those are not huge numbers like a store owner but hey take it for what it's worth

Good question! A chase rare is a card that players by booster packs hoping to get. Like Planeswalkers and {Snapcaster Mage}. Basically, the money cards.
