Guild choices?

Should I choose Selesnya or Golgari? What are the pros and cons of each?

Golgari. Selesnya needs to be combined with black to be good imo. Golgari seems that it will be good in the prerelease!

Yeah, I'll go with golgari. If the cards are too expensive to make a good golgari deck later on, i'll probably buy some selsenya.

You're not guaranteed to get Jarad at the prerelease.

Izzet or azorious. Burn or control is good against creatures.

I think stall/control would be better. Detain can slow the undead down, killing them doesn't slow them as much.

I'd say just pick a guild that excites you. For me prereleases are about fun, not winning top 4. But that's just me. 😏

Azorius isn't unblockable. It will have problems verse Selesnya (but can destroy them with board sweeps). It will have an edge vs. Golgari and Rakdos ({arrest} their big creatures).

It stands to be pretty balanced right now. Few outright beatdowns exist in my opinion. I think Golgari will stomp Izzet pretty outright, and I think Selesnya ramping with that uncounterable creep will be a major player in the meta (spikes love value).
