For $1,100 you can buy 11 booster boxes OR guarentee the full set. Statistically the odds are against you with booster packs, but seems like quite a bit more fun.

$1,100 is a lot for someone who doesn't play standard.

That is better. {Vraska the Unseen} is great, but what could she possibly cost in the months after RtR? $40, $30, $20? Just buy a playset at $160 if that's the case. Buy {Jace, Architect of Fail} and the trash angel card for .38¢ later. Still cheaper then $1,100.

Dont worry about the "too rich more my blood" issue.  Am I getting value?  Is it worth it to get the mythics?

I feel like rares fluctuate quite a bit more, just because there are more of them. Mythics plateau ({Geist of Saint Traft}, {Sorin, Lord of Innistrad}, {Huntmaster of the Fells}) with the rare {Bonfire of the Damned} being limitless.

In my non-expert opinion, no, it is not worth it to get the mythics.

Bound to go down. Wait till people open the product. Usually the following things happen.

- Mythics fluctuate in price, usually 100% higher then final price. They will plateau.

- Rares go wild, then settle, then pro tour happens, wild again, then tournaments, wild, meta begins to stabilize, then gate crash. The sheer amount of rares makes pegging their final price difficult. Easy to get burned.

- dual lands will stabilize. Innistrad enemy lands is an open book. They have scars dual trajectory. Further we get from that set, less packs that are opened. Supply and demand.

I'd be interested to see the future price of {Gravecrawler}.  I have a playset and I wanna know if it would be smart to sell/trade them now lol.

@Dudecore, I think the value of the PWs will fall a bit.  I also think the value of shocklands will be pretty steady, they are still a staple in eternal and Modern formats and players might want the new images.  I was considering collecting them all anyway, since Vintage is my bag, man.  And I don't have many to begin with.

Also, I'm a collector who's a bit of a completest: the idea of having a complete finished set appeals to me on a deep level.

Still, $500 for 60 mythic cards is ~$8.33 a card...

The Shocklands will decrease. Count on it. Too much product is being purchase and opened as resold. The old shock lands took a hammering when the new ones were announced. They'll fall to the $7's for good ones, less for less desired ones.
