I was at FNM yesterday night and was on game 2 against delver (1-0). The only killspell I had left was {Tragic Slip}, and my opponent flashed in resto-angel at the end of my turn. All I had was {Staff of Nin} and {Phyrexian Obliterator}.

I was at 20 life, but he had 2 {Runechanter's Pike}s that he equipped to the angel. He swung for over 20 damage and I was about to collect my cards and scoop. Then I realized something amazing...thank you staff of nin. Thank you.
