I wanna make a b/w token deck limited to innastrad block, I can see this being useful as it stays on the battlefield till it gets blown up, and with all the human token producers DA has if you have the 3b and a human, your opponent has the fear of losing his most valuable creature, however, Im not sure if I'll use the flayer yet.

I already build the a bw token using the one online as a guideline lol I liked the idea and the lack of high $ cost

Bleh, Avacyn Restored better be sick. I don't know if I like this set. It's almost just filler for the arrival of the REAL expansion Avacyn Restored. There's cool flavor and some decent cards, but for the most part, meh. Maybe it'll grow on me...

This expansion rules man. Just because the whole mirrodin block is stupidly overpowered, doesn't mean there's anything is wrong with this one.

Idk I definitely like the lords and a couple of cards in the set but I also feel like the set isn't as good as I had hoped. I'm definitely going to play I think I just kind of wish there were more cards you know?

Well Avacyn Restored is a full set (like 300-something cards), so it'll be like Rise of the Eldrazi. This is technically Worldwake, a sick PW, some other sick cards, a ton o mediocracy, and some cool lands. Gotta admit, Worldwake has it beat on the lands though, I was expecting a full set of enemy-dual activated effect lands. Don't get me wrong, I like a lot of the cards, and the flavor is cool, but it's really just filler. I bet you anything Avacyn Restored is going to be a pretty sick set, due to the fact that they're printing all of the good cards that they decided to leave out of this set. We'll see, I'm still playing, but meh.

I originally said that I thought DA was going to be an enemy-color-matters set (a la Apocalypse), but as the little brother of the allied-color tribes in Innistrad, it wouldn't have worked.  But I'm calling for it in Avacyn Restored!  Sort of a "can't we all get along" vibe.  As a large set, I think we'll see two enemy-colored 'Walkers, (U/G and R/U).

As a small set, I'm pretty happy with what I've seen.  True, not every card was made for me, but there are enough.

(BTW I'll take any {Elbrus, the Binding Blade}s you may have kickin' around.  )

I concur wholeheartedly! Every set can't be made to suit every player! I adore this set as the Esper fan in me gets a good lashing and the Vorthos in me has a lot to drool over! And the flavour of the set 😱 theres just so much!

I am also quite excited to meet my own Elbrus either! "Straight to the top of my W/B Human/Spirit/Demon sac deck for you!!!"
