How about {Wall of Blood}?  Great with {Fling} too.

You end up with an artleast bruised opponent, 2 more life than what you started with and a huge creature.
{Wall of blood} is still a defender but the leech can attack. Also {Fling would fit perfectly in here. Add {Autumn veil} and you're set

If you're running {R} (and maybe even if you're not) {Immolating Souleater} might be good too. Risky though.

Even so, you're looking at a possible t3 attacking with a 4/4, having them lose 4 life and you gain 2 total. That's a 10 point life swing and you keep the Leech. I think that's okay.

Yup. You can even spread it over two turns. You get your life back from Essence any way.

If you're ahead on life either one could win by itself. Plus WoB is tougher to kill.

Easier with Just RB i could only see the protection spell to be uswful but i didnt check. Maybe the doomsayer? It would give a final little extra push and provide chump blockers?

Nah, just go {R}{B}, bring their life lower than yours and essence a Souleater or bloodwall for lethal.
