Damn, I didn't know that MLP was such a ...touchy subject. I must loom into it!

"My little pony, my little pony... I'm so glad your my friend!"

Edit: I meant to say look. But loom just flows much better so I'll keep it!

Play nice children or the ModHammer goes SMASH!  That goes for for everyone

FWIW I'm reading a My Little Ponies book as I type this.

the Jester has spoken!

I'm not a brony myself, but one of my best friends is a brony, and asked me if I was interested in watching. Ended up watching all the episodes with him, and it really wasn't that bad. I survived through that, still very much like beer and shooting guns (or whatever else you want to define as manly). I don't see why bronies are being so strongly judged. The guy is one of my best friends, and his brony-ness hasn't changed a thing about him.

I don't mind people liking MLP, but I have to agree with what someone said earlier, a lot of bronies force it on other people, and make them ackgnowledge it. As far as comparing Watching MLP to playing MTG, MTG was successful in hitting its target audience, while MLP was indeed made for young girls. And i do find something wrong with 16 year old guys watching a show about pink ponies and friendship, and constantly talking about it EVERYWHERE, and singing songs from it. Seriously, it seems like my 2 bronie friends Constantly talk about it in front of me and sing songs from it, and the way they do it their only intent is CLEARLY to annoy me. No offense anyone. /EndRant

Lol at people who think Liking MLP makes you less of a man. I bet Ron Swanson would love MLP.

People like what they like, no need to hand out judgment one what kind of a person they are. I personally find the phenomenon hilarious and plan to watch MLP because I find nothing wrong with pink ponies.

Also, pink used to be a "boy color" and blue was a girl color before the 1930's or something. Why? Red=blood=war. All this gender defining stuff is all very modern. Just some food for thought.

Cant we just not open topics like this?
Edit: Due to the controversy and arguments, not hate for MLP.
Ps. Cant say i get it though.

Why not? We survived .politics. and religion threads, didn't we?

Wow this thread saw alot of hate lol.
I don't see what the point was in hating on this thread.
Me personally I hate the show(my daughter makes me watch it everyday with her), but I have "adult" friends and family that like it and there's nothing wrong with that.
So good luck on this thread guys, brohoof!

I find it very odd that MLP is as controversial as .politics. and religion lol
