I run an olivia deck, and i went the land destruction route, there is a fair amount of cheap LD in b/r: {stone rain}; {rain of tears}; {choking sands} etc... Also think about running a {wooden stake} and also {blazing torch}. {black sun zenith} {damnation} and {life's end} are effective black wipe spells, but a more localized spell that i find effective is {into the maw of hell} if you decide on a LD base. {strip mine} is also a killer universal LD bomb. Good luck man, hope it comes together

{floral spuzzem} was worded pretty funny too, it says that the spuzzem chooses to destroy something, not the player. Then you gotta sit around waiting for it to make up its mind, it could take all day.

Well, my buddy Yawgmoth85 had a baby recently, and we've already discussed that once she is able to read and count a little bit, we're going to start teaching her the ways of the mage. I think with grooming like that, she might have the potential to be a pro tour contender some day, where between Yawgmoth and myself, we have close to 30 years experience with the game. But on a side note, I've learned a great deal from magic, it teaches you how to thoroughly read things, math skills from having to calculate damage and token production etc, and also interpersonal skills, because it takes at least two people to play. It also sparks the creativity in a child, and critical thinking skills. So i absolutely agree with kids playing magic, and the earlier the better too lol

Good cards, but kinda underwhelming to me. I have pretty much all of them except for a mind sculptor, but i guess if you have the extra cash to drop, it'd be pretty cool to have

{vish kal, blood arbiter} is pretty sick if the deck is well constructed, and {wrexial, the risen deep} is quickly becoming a favorite of mine, black blue mill deck with mostly zombies and undead alchemist

Pretty good for a first draft ol boy, only thing i would change might be the forbidden alchemy with {treasure trove}, being able to re-use it turn after turn for card advantage would be better, unless you have a specific idea in mind for it. But otherwise, not bad at all

In my opinion, i'd like to see some cards come out that effect your commander damage, like something that can remove or prevent some of the commander damage. I know they would have to make some edh specific cards, but they've already done that, so why not make cards that effect something that only happens in edh?

Fallout and elder scrolls series' were both incredible. Obviously the final fantasy series too, 11 was my personal favorite, so much game it was unreal. But i find they've kinda fallen apart after 12

Check out {rhys the redeemed} as well, once you get a few tokens out, you can double them every turn, toss in a {seeker of skybreak} you can do it twice a turn. Parallel lives in the mix, thats quite a load of tokens each turn. Use {elvish archdruid} and {priest of titania} for mana curve and your golden. And with all that mana, you can pump your army of elves up multiple times with {ezuri}. Hope this helps.

Lol emrakul as a planeswalker, yea that'd be insanity. +2: put 2 eldrazi spawn tokens into play under your control, they are 0/1 and you may sacrifice them for 1 colorless. -7: put a 5/5 eldrazi spawn token into play with trample and annihilate 1. -20: you get an emblem where all eldrazi creatures you control gain an extra annihilate 5. Starting loyalty counters = 8. Cmc = 10? All i play is edh anymore so that seems like a reasonable casting cost.

But if it was to fight one of the strongest races in the multiverse, how could he not use the best tool at his disposal, the phyrexians. The lesser of two evils. If anything, he could send the phyrexians to their deaths in an initial attack. Then form an alliance elsewhere to build a proper army to fight them. Possibly Sorin for all his connections. Or why not an alliance of planeswalkers to fight them, casting their petty differences aside to deal with a much larger problem before it gets out of control.
