I think players dont like to leave their comfort zones, we have the cards to make awesome deck but if a card isnt in a tier 1 deck we assume it's crap. All we do is stick to our {boros reckoner}s and {geist of saint traft}s if somebody built their own awesome deck and bashed peoples faces in with it at a pro tour or grand prix these cards would see more play.
I run 4 {hound of griselbrand} in my mono red and turn 5 madcap skills + 3 mana bloodrush guy for +5/+1 and bash in for 20 if they only have 1 creature or 10 if they have 2-3. Its awesome but underated considering it sees no play and you can get ahold of 4 for a dollar

Give//Take. Only using give. I have heard many people say paying three mana for three +1/+1 counters is crap. But supplement it with Vorel of the Hull Clade or Corpsejack menace or both and it's nasty.

Don't know if its posted yet or not, but {liquimetal coating} is pretty busted, and {vault skirge} i love this little guy, 1st turn skirge, second turn {phyresis} then a third turn {dark favor}, she's all over but the crying

You play the "No I'll play this card to nerf your combo" game and then you don't even mention the most powerful one drop in red ({Lightning Bolt}?!) Get outta heeeeere!
