Perhaps we can get a refresher for all the noobies who don't know anything about return to ravnica and what we might expect to see?
Honestly , all I know is were getting another jace and that there are many gold cards in the set, anyone have predictions or thoughts?

Besides the shock lands getting a reprint (really likely to happen) I hope Bob({dark confidant}) gets a reprint. As well as {mortify} and {putrefy}. With {tormod's crypt} being reprinted I think the dredge mechanic is coming back. It is rumored Nissa might be in this block. As well as a couple new Planeswalkers.

Speaking of Dredge, how was that mechanic like? To play and to play against it. I left MtG after Kamigawa and started playing again in Mirrodin Beseiged, so I wasn't paying attention to the Type 2 (T2) meta of dredge. Always hear about it being a quick win, but I usually find that sounds about normal based on the access of cards for T1.5 and T1 formats.
Oh, if that Red/Blue Planeswalker from DotP 12, Ral Zarek I think it was, is not printed in the RtR set then something must be very wrong :/
If nissa comes back I would like to see her as a green black. As for jace I want to make another good jace, I wasn't happy with the memory adept.

Thanks for the info regarding Dredge, BlackJester. Sounds like some of the graveyard themes from Innistrad may work with Dredge (may be wrong, perhaps there is little to no synergy at all).

Zero life for {Mox Jet} or land. Trading life for card advantage is nearly always a good deal ({Necropotence} I'm 👀 at you). Plus it's on legs, so you can swing for 2.

When Nissa became a Planeswalker she traveled to the plane of lorawin were the elves there used black magic as well as green magic. She learned there ways and traveled back to zendikar. Rumor has it Nissa is a Planeswalker in this block. If that is the case she will probably be GB Planeswalker.

Well enemy color PW I can take or leave em. Jace is wildly popular, blue and it's lack of good control, coupled with White seemingly having the best removal, makes a marriage of {U}{W} appear to be logical moving forward. They already have a {U} Jace, and I don't see him being {U}{B} (although that'd be cool).
It's all conjecture at this point, I only know what everyone else does...nothing.
