So that's where all my lands were.
Cast a {viscera seer}. Trigger {vengevine} from graveyard. Swing 4.
Pass turn.

Sac my {vengevine} in response to the {viscera seer}. Triggers {bridge from below}. Scry 1 and get a zombie token. Resolves?
Sorry for being neurotic, but I want to check before a scrt or mill or draw, since I can't unsee what those are.

Yes that's fine, no worries brotha. Lol
I will be off-line for a while, FYI.
Ugh. Occurs to me I should have let it resolve. I'm now crossing my fingers to draw a third land.
Draw. Cry. Cast {gravecrawler}. Pass turn.

Did you take the 3 from wild Nacatl?
If you don't mind could you keep your life and cards in hand memo-Ed somewhere Lol
Sorry. 6/4. Is that right? I'm away from cards and with my hands full, but I think that's it.

Sounds about right. Gonna be a while for me to take my next turn im away from my home. Will be able to continue in about an hour or so.
No rush, but thanks for the heads up. With us having been posting every 5 minutes, I had just announced on my end so you weren't sitting hitting refresh.
No worries, end of turn sac my forest with knight, get a {windswept Heath}, fetch a {forest}, exile your {Vengevine} from the grave with my {scavenging ooze}.
Draw
Cast {Woolly Thoctar}
Exile bridge from below with ooze. Tapping down my {birds of paradise}. No mana available.
Attack with my 4/4 {scavenging ooze}, 3/3 {Wild Nacatl}, and 7/7 {Knight of the Relinquary}(5 land in my graveyard.)
pass my turn
15/0
I'm just gonna scoop. I am pretty sure I can live this turn but that's about it. Game 2?

Sure, sideboard?
Yup. My biggest issues are with figuring out how to SB
Also drawing no lands, then milling 6 lands :P
#onlyabitsalty
Not to give away secrets while you mulligan, but mil to 6 then keep. I'm on the play.
(Coded notes to myself for later: B-a A-m D-t
Draw 7 keep
That was rough game 1. My deck can play through a main deck ooze, but ooze stops me from being degenerate, and to come from that far behind I need degenerate. ;)

Lol no worries buddy, let's see how the sideboards match up lol
{Blood crypt}. Ouch. {faithless looting}
Discard {life from the loam} and {gravecrawler}
Pass. 18/4
Draw
Play Forest and {Birds of paradise}
Pass
20/6
Draw. Island. Pass.
(I have a different option here. Remind me after the game to ask if you think I played it correct)
18/4
Draw play {Gavony Township} tap down bird for white and my other two lands to play {loxodon smiter}
Pass
20/5
And that's cool We'll figure it out lol
End of turn. {izzet charm}. Loot. (The other play was bolting your bird). Dredge {life from the Liam} for dirt draw. Dredge bloodstained mire, polluted delta, and wooded foothills (dang my lands are bunched up). Draw second card normal. Discard bridge from below and {life from the loam}.
Draw. Play {faithless looting}. Draw 2. Discard {golgari grave troll} and {vengevine}. Play {polluted delta}. sac for basic swamp. Cast {viscera seer}. Pass.
17/1
Draw tap down bird for white, play {rest in peace} swing 4/4 with Smiter.
20/5
Dang it!!!! I had the izzet charm and usually would hold for that but when you didn't play it turn 2, I assumed you didn't have it.
Draw. Wooded foothills. {thoughtseize} (a little late buddy).
What you got?
(Sorry if I sound sore....I'm disappointed in myself both games, and this is a hard deck to do in play by post.

I figured you had a counter with mana left open so I played smiter to be more Aggro lol plus none of your mean things were in the grave yet.
Okay for the tseize I have
2x {Lightning Bolt}
1x {Path to exile}
1x {Qasali Pridemage}
1x {Loxodon Smiter}<-- pick him :)
Well my one card in hand is a land. I peek at top cards of library.
I reveal {skab ruinator} and {gnaw to the bone}
I flip my side of the table. It's a segmented table so yours are not disturbed, as that would be rude. Then I choose the smiter and concede.
Ok, so apparently I did need to hold up counter. I was expecting blood moon since you started with basic/bird, and hadn't dropped RIP turn 2. From what I knew at the time, did I choose right and just guess wrong? Should I have bolted the bird?
My SB for you was 2 thoughtsieze, 3 more abrupt decays, and one murderous cut.
What do you think on my play choice, side boarded cards, or other different cards I should bring in against you?

Sideboard plan was strong lots of removal works for me, only exception is I wouldn't have brought in Thoughtseize because my deck plays 4 smiters and a Wilt-leaf liege. Your abrupt decays can take care of my rest in peace. Had you bolted my bird you would've won. I just peeked at the top 3 cards of my library and I had a forest, forest, bolt; In that order. I would've been completely mana screwed to say the least. Can't do much in a tri-color deck with only forests on the board. Lol
For you my sideboard game was
-4 {Knight of the Relinquary}
+2 {rest in Peace}
+2 {Magus of the moon}
Heh. Would you say for your deck bolting the bird is usually the right play for your opponent?
Apparently bolting the bird or holding up counter magic both would have been ok. Three choices, so of course I choose the wrong one. :/
Well it definitely slows me down. I swarm fast with creatures(I'll bump my list in the modern section) if the bird doesn't get bolted I usually get a turn 3 {Collected Company} into 2 {Woolly Thoctars} and that usually frightens players. So bolting the bird is most of the time the safest bet. Lol

Fair. Hard to commit to when I probably need the charm as a mana leak, but better a bolt than a looting :P
I'm happy to play them again, tomorrow maybe?

May not have a lot of time tomorrow I have a family funeral I must attend but another round for sure soon buddy
Bolting a mana dork is often the correct play.
Your opponent kept a hand planning on using that dork. Depriving them of that is usually a good idea.

I agree, but when my bolt is also a counterspell and I want to play around Rest in Peace, it's a harder question.
I made the mistake here of thinking I was the beatdown. Bolting or countering would have won the game maybe. Instead I went full steam ahead with looting and lost
