Quote from: blackychan1 on February 03, 2015, 12:13:07 PMJust to check tarmo-twin is tarmogoyf in a twin deck. I'll add some stuff soon.
What about this?
From my memory, I think this is what a good deal of Tarmo-Twin decks look like.
-4 commune with the gods. you have better things to do with that 2 mana.
+4 {serum visions}
+2 {gitaxian probe}
+2 {cryptic command}
+2 {kiki jiki, mirror breaker}
+3 {deceiver exarch}
+2 {vendilion clique}

Quote from: blackychan1 on February 03, 2015, 10:59:46 PMDtt was banned too.
Yes! Tarm+ twin= tarmo-twin! I also see {scavenging ooze} quite frequently, which seems to have gotten better now that people may use their graveyards more (flashback and reanimator) with the banning of {Treasure Cruise}. Maybe {sleight of hand}s, or {dig through time}

{Deciever Exarch} is better than the mite because it doesn't die to bolt.

Quote from: Taysby on February 04, 2015, 10:59:12 AMmtgtop8.com disagrees. There's some GP and Premier IQ decks that ran them pre-TC ban (that made top8 or 16).Quote from: Kaalia with haste on February 04, 2015, 09:14:00 AMThat's not a reason to not pay something. Quote from: Mattao19 on February 04, 2015, 12:44:14 PMAre you joking? It nets you either a card or more land.
How does Coiling oracle play? I feel like it's an awful card

Quote from: Munchlax on February 04, 2015, 11:32:51 PMIts true, but it depends when/how you play it. 4/10 or so games I can:Quote from: Mattao19 on February 04, 2015, 12:44:14 PMAre you joking? It nets you either a card or more land.

except i'm fairly certain that there are much more powerful things to play than a coiling oracle
Quote from: Mattao19 on February 05, 2015, 12:52:51 PMThis DOES sound nice and rather 'combo oriented'!
I'd go:
-4 Coiling (it's inly good in EDH)
-4 Birds
-1 Noble
-4 commune
+4 {Remand}
+3 {Scavenging Ooze}
+2 {Dispel}
+4 {Gitaxian Probe}
Quote from: blackychan1 on February 05, 2015, 06:20:40 PMPersonally I like to have slot of consistancy with my decks hence the Comunes, I'll playtest with your other ideas and see what I think works best.
Yes. I'm just pointing out that I like these numbers.
Quote from: Mattao19 on February 05, 2015, 09:33:34 PMI just like that if you get a hand with part of the combo and comune the chances of you finding the other part you need with commune is greater than that of a (example) sleight of hand.
Commune is ok but it's not ideal imo
