Out of any/all of the Magic things that exist in this world, which thing(s) would you be most happy to receive from a girl that you fancied/fancied you?
My wife sneaks in boosters on our grocery shopping outings. That's pretty awesome. Also fat packs never hurt.
Depends on the guy really. Getting a really cool/expensive card like JtMS or Black Lotus will satisfy some. Whereas very simple things can be fine. My gf tried playing, but she doesn't enjoy it at all, so her even just playing with me would be an awesome gift.
But honestly, a rare or cool card could work. Does the gift even have to be about magic?

you might want to give more information about this guy so we can give better suggestions. What decks does he run? How long has he been playing? Has he said "oh, that card is cool" or something like that? What's his favorite color in magic? Every guy is different, as you can see from the awnsers we all gave. Customize the gift for him. That's a lot more thoughtful then just giving him something a bunch of different guys have said

My favorite mtg gifts are specific foils for EDH (one is 80ish% foil) and those are ones that really mean a lot. It can be completely small/random cards too. The front page of my TB has random stuff I've put there or been given to me :)

If he's anything like me, something small along with a smile is a better gift than all of the foiled EDH gifts in the world - and I love my EDH. I'd rather spend time playing with/enjoying the company of someone I like being with than recieve a gift, by far. And if that someone happened to be a cutie telling me she likes me in a special way, I'm on top of the world.

Idk, just play with me lol. It's fun to open boosters and fat packs and stuff and see what new cards you get but I enjoy playing much more :) I think it'd be nice to have someone I fancied or fancied me to just spend time and play with me :3
You two could invent a format together. Make it something were you both would laugh a lot with the suggestions. You could build off each other's ideas, and just spend some quality time bonding over a project like that. This might strengthen your mutual respect and affinity for each other and it might be easy after it's done to ask him out.
It doesn't have to be magic, I think it could work with any project if you use it correctly.

Magic is great and all but I tell my lady to not spend money on cards for me. My collection is large enough to where I can geek hard enough to get my stuff needed through trades.
She has however gotten me a very limited figurine from the original line of American McGee's Alice, the catepillar! That was something she had to search for and that she also enjoys.
Cards are great but I feel unless you can find him an oversized commander card, you're better off with an amazing dinner, a game with each other and snuggly wuggly time after is a hard one to beat.
Whatever you do: beware of 2 headed giant. You might just choke each other if you're slightly competitive
As a guy, I'd just be happy that she'd set up time for us to play together and a shared interest in a common hobby.
Now maybe that's because I'm single
If I had to pick a gift, maybe one of the shirts with my guild from the wizards store "izzet" in your case.
Or a playmat with my favorite plainswalker or legend.
