Title: Weird splitting hairs rules question
Post by: Birdbrain on September 04, 2013, 04:36:15 PM
If you have a creature fight another one. And it dies, did it die from a source an opponent controlled (the damage from there creature)?

The " source" of the damage would be controlled by an opponent, yes

Yes. Damage from a creature is a source under that creature's controller's control.

That sentence sounds horrible, but hopefully it makes sense :P

I'll just say that if it was worded without the "source your opponent control" then it would not fit the philosophy of the color because of the type of game play that would encourage
