Hi all, I'm started designing creature cards for the planes walkers!
I've done sorin.
Sorin, the ancient one. {4}{B}{B}
Legendary creature- vampire aristocrat
Initimidate, lifelink
{2}{B} sarifice a creature: sorin, gains X +1/+1 counters till end of turn where X is the sacrificed creature's power
Other vampires you control gain +2/+1 and intimidate
5/4
What do you think? And any ideas for any other planeswalkers?
Your wording for sorin is strange.. Gains +1/+1 counters till end of turn? Why counters? Counters are permanent, im
Assuming you simply meant +1/+1
And it's Sorin! Those counters would not go away at end of turn. He would suck their soul and keep them.

No I meant counters! Cos if he gets -1/-1 counters the +1/+1 counters he gets will cancel out them out!

You CANT have counters leave at end of turn.. You could put some effect like {obzedat ghost council} that flickers/exiles at end f turn to reset counters, and then give him haster

Elspeth, Knight Seeker
{W}{W}{3}
Legendary Creature - Human Knight
Mythic Rare
When Elspeth, Knight Seeker hasn't attacked by the end of your turn, search your library for a knight, and put it in your hand.
Whenever a knight enters the battlefield under your control, it gains haste, +3/+3, and First Strike.
"Please realize, I merely want the strong willed, not the strong minded."
-Elspeth
[3/4]
1 I've thought Wizards should do this since day one.
2 this is awesome. Love the Sorin but I would have tried for a picture say he's sitting on an awesome throne fit for The Lord of Innistrad (like old style super tall back and the armrest are spines and skulls) he has a cup (of bood of course) in one hand a sword laying down from his other resting against his knee in a spiderweb filled dark castle setting maybe a dead body or two around with bite marks on them. Keep coming with pics if you get anymore cards out. Great job.
Koth, the Volcanic {R}{R}{R}
Legendary Creature - Elemental Mythic Rare
Mountains you control are 1/1 elementals with, "{R}: This creature gains +1/+0 until the end of the turn." They are still Mountains.
{R}: This creatures gains +2/+0 until the end of the turn.
{R}{R}{1}: Put a +0/+1 counter on target elemental.
"Rise my brethren, let us fight as antients fight."

Venser, Reincarnated

Good flavor text, but Liliana is more selfishness than chaos... Maybe change unruly to selfish and entertainment to strong-willed? Since she is the "I know what I want" person. Otherwise, great!

But, it's hard to beat Veil.
So how about similar. But edited Veil art? Kinda like the Sorin pic already posted. Has his Lord of Innistrad look but art is all different
Maybe if she had an art where she was being followed by people with some symbol on them all.
Or she could be holding onto somebody while taking over their mind.
Or whatever, I dunno, even the Innistraid fat pack art would be cool. :)

I'll try again, he's a tough one though. :/
The Secretist is a great series and helps a lot, might want to try reading it.
If there's going to be a Ral Zarek creature he better stop with that extra turn shenanigans -.-
That's my favorite art! All you need is my luck, and you usually get four extra turn s when he's at, like, 13, so on last extra you can get more! It is hi-LARIOUS!
Ral, Lord of Leylines {U}{R}{4}
Legendary Creature - Human Wizard
Mythic Rare
If Ral, Lord of Leylines is in your opening hand, you may put it onto the battlefield.
Whenever a card enters the battlefield, that wasn't cast, Ral, Lord of Leylines deals 3 damage to target creature or player.
"Such unfathomable concepts, and yet I have them at my disposal. Well, you have to use what you have.

Well, this may shock a few people, but Ral Zarek acually did study the Leylines. I heard that in his story and I just went crazy about it because Leylines were so cool, and I wanted to see how that would incorporate into Dragon's Maze. And it didn't. So screw wizards, I'm incorrperating my Leylines! :)
Nice, but he needs more lightning stuff, because he's more of a lightning mage. But thanks,, and this was great.
In the Secretist he says this, so it should be his flavor.
"It's was exhausting, always having to show so many people how wrong they were."
-Ral Zarek
Also I think personally he should have some sort of activatable ability like all the previous planewalker creatures. Something like his ability of tap untap permanents maybe? But please Ral...no more extra turns ;)
The reason that I want to keep the lightning effect like that, is because, try imagining putting two of him out from opening hand. That is twelve damage because it counts himself when he is played.
But extra turns are really the only worthwhile ability... Maybe {r}{r}{b}{b}{t}: Take two extra turns after this one. You can only cast this ability the turn after an opponent's turn.
I just am against it because there was a game where the kid had all 5 flips...5 turns...what am I supposed to do...

Ok....
No extra turns for this Ral... I'm sorry, I just won't have it.
And you have to use capitals to get the color circles. ;)
But extra turns are ral's big thing... It's the best part! It's like taking the number seven out of {Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker}'s ultimate!
I still think it's a good idea...
How annoying would it be if instead of a -6 (or whatever his loyalty ulti is) to possibly take 5 turns. Your opponent straight got unlimited turns do to untapping their mana and playing it again.
Read the restriction I made.
It is still to broken though. In fact the turn thing, never really made any sense to begin with.
Darn.
I always saw the turn steal as what a Mind sculptor's ability should be.

He's actually extremely powerful in Tfe Secretust, so maybe a 5/4?
He acually is powerful, think about {gravecrawler}, and their effects together.
I don't understand "when a card enters the battlefield that wasn't cast". Maybe "whenever a player casts a noncreature spell"?
Anything that enters the battlefield that enter say by, {Primal Surge}, I don't believe it is considered cast. Like when you reanimate an Eldrazi, or {show and tell} it isn't cast, so it doesn't activate the ability that says, when this card is cast. (Kozilek, and Emrakul)
When the Leylines enter the battlefield on the opening hand ability, it isn't cast.

Sorin should have a way to create tokens too. It has sort of become his thing.
Also, counters are used as permanents - it doesn't make much sense to add counters only to remove them: +X/+X until the end of turn is just a better rules thing. Adding permanent counters, then removing them, adds too many extra steps to what is ultimately the same thing:

I remember her having the {B}{G} deck in DotP 2012/2013 (I forgot), but I couldn't make it too OP. Because you know that instea of Lifelink, it would be deathtouch, and that would be broken!!! 0_0
Thanks for the criticism! :)
The Nissa I've done so far is elf champion that gives all elves +1/+1 and forest walk
Wouldn't that make tibalt a human devil?
He IS a human devil...
Fixed both Nissa and tibbles. Thoughts, and criticism?

I like the tibalt!!! Very flavour full and no OP.
Nissa I will need to think about more!
Yeah Nissa needs a little work. Originally GW, but I was informed otherwise. :)
Thanks for tibbles speculation :)

I will most likely use your tibalt idea! As it better than any I could think up!
Thanks! :)
Do you think I should give him haste??? I'm wondering if that would break him, or be irrelevant.
This is the coolest idea but if you have the creature out. With the planes walker type rule if you play the planes walker wouldn't you have to discard both the creature and the planeswalker? Just wondering
The idea I have is that these will be part of there own format of EDH where something has happened to all the main planeswalkers and they weaken down to mortal form!! So planeswalker card will be on the banned list!
No. {Karn, Silver-Golem}, and {Karn Liberated} can be out at the same time.
