That too, but if you cheat him in with kaalia and your opponent has no blockers, is it gg or do they have 1 life left?

Master can only attack alone, so this doesn't work.

I already posted this in general, but {Artful Dodge}, {Bloodgift Demon}, Master

Technically tho he doesn't attack, kaalia does and then he gets put on the battlefield attacking

{Kaalia of the Vast} does work actually, head rules dude was just asked and he said yes on twitter.

So in this situation, does kaalia's combat damage happen to the player before or after their life total becomes 1

Before. Combat damage is dealt before any triggers based off damage occur.

Edit: Actually, I believe this does work. He doesn't need to deal damage, he just needs to attack and not be blocked. Lemme need over the rules for a bit. It's hard when the rulings for cards don't exist yet, but I can at least give an informed opinion!

And here's the verdict:

It works! This rule here applies, during the Declare Blockers Step, before combat damage is dealt:

509.4g An ability that reads "Whenever [this creature] attacks and isn't blocked, ..." triggers if no creatures are declared as blockers for that creature. It won't trigger if the attacking creature is blocked and then all its blockers are removed from combat.

Ignore the links, Master of Cruelties isn't in the database yet. The master reduces the opponents life to 0 if it attacks and is not blocked.

I honestly think it goes against the rules, since he's never declared as an attacker, and "when this card attacks" is dependent on being declared an attacker, but if the head judge says it works, I suppose it works.

I like {Madcap Skills} but  {Volcanic Strength} keeps keeps most creatures out of spear range
