I'm not a brony myself, but one of my best friends is a brony, and asked me if I was interested in watching. Ended up watching all the episodes with him, and it really wasn't that bad. I survived through that, still very much like beer and shooting guns (or whatever else you want to define as manly). I don't see why bronies are being so strongly judged. The guy is one of my best friends, and his brony-ness hasn't changed a thing about him.
I don't mind people liking MLP, but I have to agree with what someone said earlier, a lot of bronies force it on other people, and make them ackgnowledge it. As far as comparing Watching MLP to playing MTG, MTG was successful in hitting its target audience, while MLP was indeed made for young girls. And i do find something wrong with 16 year old guys watching a show about pink ponies and friendship, and constantly talking about it EVERYWHERE, and singing songs from it. Seriously, it seems like my 2 bronie friends Constantly talk about it in front of me and sing songs from it, and the way they do it their only intent is CLEARLY to annoy me. Ok I have now seen ppl in here liking MLP u have seen many ppl in steam like MLP... I'm not trying to hate or offend anyone by this but how old are u guys who are watching this if you don't mind me asking and why do you watch it? I have seen a little bit of it and don't see what's so special about it and yet I don't really watch "kids" shows other than sponge bob when I have time haha but if any of you can clear this up for me I would love to know... I used to watch it and I'm 17. It's just like most other shows: it is an easy way to kill time and sometimes there are lines that are totally contradictary to what I expected and made me laugh.
However, with the release of new video games, RTR, and the discovery of other shows, I don't rightly care for MLP that much anymore. No offense to the people who do like it still ξ
It honesty seems to me like "bronies" are just a fad. It'll die down. One day.

Well after watching this show a few times because it has peaked my intrest. I have concluded this.
It is OK.
It is not good, however it is not bad.
@IceScythe I saw this a little through the episodes, it is liked because of the adult jokes in it that are hidden. Plus they like the characters.
My personal opinion is that while the adult jokes are funny at times, that is all it is riding on. The characters aren't really developed for me. And I am quite a critic when it comes to shows and movies. When a show only rides on adult jokes, it should be destined to fail everytime. Then again we still have Family Guy around, but that is besides the point.
I don't see why people like the characters, can someone please explain. :/
