Okay say I have a 5/5 deathtouch creature and my opponent has 2 10/10 creatures. I cast {lure} then attack. Do I get to kill both of his creatures? Or is the dave from one of his enough to kill mine before I hit the other creature.
When there are multiple blockers, you chose the damage assignment order. Then, when you assign damage, you need to assign at least lethal damage to the first before you give more to the next in line.
For Deathtouch, 1 point is lethal, so you can assign one to the first 10/10 and 4 to the second 10/10.
You can take out up to 5 of his blockers.
Unless they have banding and he bands them then he can assign damage
What's this "Banding" ability of which you speak? 😒
If the 5/5 had trample, you could kill both 10/10 and hit for 3

What who are you and what have you done with jester
Jester knows all
Not even wotc acknowledges banding anymore I would expect nothing less of blackjester
I'm a year into the game and I know it
It'd be in your best interest to forget it

Don't treat it so harshly jester.. It has feelings too!
Band == Banned
But banding is so good!
What did banding even do??
When a creature with banding block instead of your opponent choosing how much damage to do to one or more creatures you choose how damage is dealt
Imagine a card thats banding mixed with cascade...... Everyone would be what the helling everwhere
If you fight a creature with first strike against one with death touch, what wins? Ex. They both have 2/2.
*Fight* the ability just measures power and toughness bypassing first strike since its not combat. But deathtouch applies to ALL creature damage and since fight specifies "Creature X and Y deals damage to Eachother" Meaning the creatures themselves deal the damage, not the spell that causes them to "fight"
Alas deathtouch applies but not first strike.
