If a {Tidehollow Strix} blocks something like {Emarakuk, the Aeons Torn} or {Progentius}, does it still kill them

I'm usually wrong but, {Emrakul, the Aeons Torn} yes, and he can't block {Progenitus} because it has protection from everything

Cant block either. Just kind of a what if question
Why can't you block Emrakul? It says protection from colored spells, not creatures.

Strix is colored
But once he's on the battlefield he's no longer a spell.

He still is. Everything but lands are spells. Even on the battlefield
Anyways, hypothetically yes. Any amount of damage by a creature with deathtouch is enough to kill the creature it damages.

This.
Strix can kill Emmy.
Yes!
Wait for it, wait for it.....................🔨🔨🔨🔨
Things are only spells on the stack.
Emmy also can't be targeted by a {Pacifism}.
{Oblivion Ring} works though.
Oh. My bad.
You can pacifism on a emrakul if you put it on the BF without casting it, right?
Yes because it wouldn't target.. At least that's my thought
Correctamundo.

No you can't. It is a colored spell, and would fall off, it has nothing to do with targeting. This kind of situation would would like {pacifism} on {Geist of saint traft} but not Emmy
If you were to cast {Sun Titan} and have it return {Pacifism} to the battlefield, you can have it enchant Emmy. It is not a spell at that point it is a permanent.
I was told by multiple people on cockatrice that circumventing with sun Titan wouldn't work with something that has protection.
Any specific rulings?
emmy has protection from spells. not permanents.
Ok, so {knight of infamy} Has protection from white...is that different with this situation substituting him for emrakul and circumventing pacifism?

It's in Emmy's rulings here in the app too.

Yes. Protection from white is different from protection from white SPELLS.
