priority is passed between players before objects resolve and phases end. So you would have priority and then they would have priority to scroll rack and save needed cards from hymn to tourach.

Thus is correct I run memory jar I my artifact edh and if I have a great hand and it's out and someone try's to make me discard more then 1 card I won't hesitate to crack my jar just to save my hand
