To be honest I'd forget the victim of night and run doomblade because there are a lot of innistrad tribal decks running in standard and victim can't kill their creatures

Doomblade can't kill MonoZombies and many Vampires either. Go for the Throat.

No worries. Besides, it looks like Mac said "No Zombies, No vampires" in the meta, so Doomblade, Victim of the Night, or Go for the Throat are all on the table. Unless Artifact critters are big there.
