AAPL pulled our iMtG Plus (which was the expanded version of iMtG with extra card games such as Pokemon TCG) from Apple iOS App Store citing Spam rule:
Design - 4.3 This app duplicates the content and functionality of other apps submitted by you or another developer to the App Store, which is considered a form of spam.
For this reason, your app will be removed from sale on the App Store at this time.
Deliberate disregard of the App Store Review Guidelines and attempts to deceive users or undermine the review process are unacceptable and is a direct violation Section 3.2(f) of the Apple Developer Program License Agreement. Continuing to violate the Terms & Conditions of the Apple Developer Program will result in the termination of your account, as well as any related or linked accounts, and the removal of all your associated apps from the App Store.
My new phone was supposed to be Apple ? Plus released later this year. It is not going to be that phone. I will not buy 'Spam' phones anymore, I guess.
I got tired of working with b-players. I replied this to them:
I started moving my apps to other stores, thank you for pulling the last straw. I will be recommending shorting AAPL to my friends. Good luck, you will need it!
I pulled iMtG for Education from the App Store because I see no point in tying myself up to a sinking ship.
iMtG for Education included iMtG Server updates in the price of the app. We wont be investing any more of our time than we already promised and we are stopping any new promises related to any of the Apple platforms now.
*ds from APPL responded to my communication doubling down on their 'spam' diagnose.
I replied as follows:
I still consider App Store a waste of my time, and I consider your app reviewers of first and second level unable to comprehend the difference between database containing 1 game and multiple games. Oh well, we are moving our focus away from the failing platform. Good luck again.
