For me, life just has been crazy busy. Magic, Facebook and life vie for my every waking minute. So I've been lurking, trying to keep a clean house by sniping spam bots, getting sucked into Magic the Puzzling (which is a surprisingly fun game), still getting overflown with ideas for the craziest decks, keeping up with lore, podcasts, the forum.
You get my drift. Once I have settled in a rhythm, I'll likely be posting some more crazy tech & combo's. As for competitive, I think too convoluted for that, but I can always give feedback on Taysby
I won gameday does that make me a good player 😂😂
Did you net deck?
But honestly I think the difference between a good player and a guy that wins game day is knowledge of the game and meta.
I've been on bw control since sorin came out, I've had my share of brews, but as a human I know I'm not infallible so I do browse and read other decks and articles and adapt things to my style.
I don't plan to be one and done though but I was just kinda of being a little facetious about being a good player just because I won game day. I also played a total of 4 gamedays this weekend and took a 3rd and 6th in addition to my first and a drop so I could make another.
Personally I have greatly cut back on Magic, only format I play is commander, but I used to play standard. But standard got really expensive for a time. (I had a really good deck(in testing) that cost ~800, this was back when there was fetchable lands) and I am not willing to spend more then about 100 for a commander deck. Like look at Liliana, the Last Hope or any of half a dozen other cards. The format has grown to expensive for my taste.
