Ante cards in a cube, and play with ante. Could be fun..
Back in High School (4th ed thru Urza's) my group played with fake ante. It was fun, and made things interesting when a key card was flipped as the ante, and thereby unusable for the game. Like in a 3way I flipped my mox jet flipped his Gaia's cradle and another flipped a random junk
Sound nice as well. The fun thing about ante in a cube draft would be that you build your deck, then it keeps changing due to ante. Defaulting to archetypes and relying on key rares would be impossible, so you gotta look at the whole picture. Truest in deck building challenge I think.
I think jace memory adept is very powerful considering if you have any counter spells in your deck you can destroy any opponent without ever taking life.
