I like the land ramp. Also you need Grim Monolith and Basalt Monolith for this because they're really good ramp. The rage beast hasn't done to well in edh in my opinion. The ability isn't optional, and with how your deck has more uncontrolled cascades I wouldn't run it.
Yeah I see that many decks use those among other ramping cards. My obly problem is that I don't want to have so many ramp cards that half of my cascades are dead. I'd rather have to wait a little longer to play the wanderer then have him not be as awesome when he hits. And I'm not trying to make this deck SUPER competitive so I'm not set on trying to get him out by turn 4-5 every game :p The monoliths just seem kinda meh to me, being that you only get to use them once before they slow you down hella.
But yeah I can definitely see that with the ragebeast though. I heard he was a bit awkward for others as well. But I don't know, I mean, he will kill off A LOT of good stuff pretty regularly. Especially since you get atleast two triggers everytime you cascade into him. And he can kill off your wanderer which can be pretty helpful :p
Btw, thanks for the suggestions and discussion I really appreciate it! +1 to you Dimir
Also, why no Jokulhaups hexproof? It's not like I'm trying to be that MLD douche (or I'd have devastation and apocalypse in there), I just want to throw it in there to make the deck a little more chaotic :p

Lol he's a friend of mine, I cascaded into jolulhaups the other day and he got really angry
I'd go for a mana rocks build to get wanderer out earlier.
Like I said above, I'd rather play him later on then have the cascades be a bust half the time. I almost always get him out before turn 6 with the current amount of rocks and that is more then okay with me.

Dimir is a friend of mine in real life. He cascades into jokulhaups a LOT
I apologize for the necro, but I just wanted to say, since I want to build this guy, it's so hard not to take too many suggestions from your deck DX I feel so bad about it, and yet, you explained why you have each card in there, and it makes so much sense.....trying to be original is hard when looking for inspiration (if that made sense)
