Rooftop Storm or Omniscience + Haakon, Stromgald Scourge + Ashes of the Fallen declaring Knight + Fleshbag Marauder or a self-sacking Zombie + Thraximundar = infinite +1/+1 counters on Thrax.

For your first combo Ominesceince wouldn't work because it's not from your hand
