Sideboard Notes: Attempt number 2. Counters until lullmage tokens can swing for lethal
When this was in vintage, 3/4 mana counters were definitely not cutting it by any means, and hoping to last that long with 1-1 counters wasn't happening. In casual, this may be fine.
You better hope that you play first how do you stop a T1 Griselbrand or Emrakul the Aeons Torn (obviously you counter but they also play counters) so what you Foil their Show and Tell then they FoW your foil so then you either Foil again (by then you discard 4 cards PLUS 2 foils and you have a 1 card hand lets hope it's a land or something of use ...)
Tbh there's a reason why FoW is expensive and Foil is dirt cheap ...

Umm. You did your math wrong. Discard an island for foil, repeat is only 4 total. Not 6... Fow is the same thing. Force of will, plus a blue card and a life, rinse repeat is 4 cards and 2 life.
Fow has to eat a counter because lands are colorless. In most decks, that's a better thing, but in this deck I need every single one of my counters
And what you said was a god hand, which I wouldn't be too concerned about. The have black lotus their bomb of choice, show and tell, force of will and a blue card to exile, and of all things they went first.
I'm just saying that is what you can expect in vintage
