There's been some interest of trying to play some Zombie Horde in wall game form, so lets see how it works! Details on how Zombie Horde Mode works can be found in this thread in Fun Stuff: imtgapp.com/.....opic=28294.0
Special notes: - I (Gorzo) will be running the Horde deck. - there is a maximum of 4 players (Horde not included) per game. (This is subject to change and special games may occur) - Please respect the "Don't be a Jerk" rule.
I will edit in a list of my houserules (both functional and achievement-like perks) as I get the chance here:
HOUSERULES
1 ) "My friend, don't be a jerk." - This means don't bring certain cards or decks just for the sake of beating the horde and the way it works. It just ruins your fun, and your teams! It's supposed to be a CHALLENGE! (Ex. Angel of Glory's Rise, Turbo Fog, Hulk-Flash / MeliraPod / ridiculously fast and easy infinite Combos)
2 ) "Is that one of ours?" - if a zombie enters the battlefield under a player's control, flip a coin. If it comes up tails, the horde gains control of it.
3 ) "Zombies don't know how to play Blue" - the blue Innistrad Zombies, such as Skaab Goliath, will exile the top cards of the zombie graveyard in order to meet their requirements, no matter what cards they may be. If an Innistrad blue zombie is drawn and there are not enough creatures in the graveyard to meet the requirement, shuffle it into the library. Place a 2/2 zombie wizard token onto the battlefield (Alara) and the draw step ends.
4 ) "The wonderful Wizard" - if the players see and destroy the ultra rare Zombie Wizard, when the Zombie Wizard dies, each player may pay 2 life to draw a card. (Horde excluded)
5 ) "Ruination" - The Skaab Ruinator will be cast once per turn from the graveyard every turn if able. Like all blue zombies, he gives 0 craps about what he exiles. The 3 from the top.
6 ) "Because F$*& you, that's why" - Tokens that came from the horde's library do not disappear at state checks. Ever. Those 70 zombies and 10 5/5 giant zombies will remain in the zones they are sent to (Hand, GRAVEYARD, exile, etc). These tokens WILL be revived by Zombie Apocalypse, and CAN be used as cost fodder for blue zombies such as Skaab Ruinator. Deal with it! If a token ends up in the horde's "hand," it will play it for free at the beginning of its next main phase. Tokens created by other effects disappear as normal.
7 ) "NO WHIFFS ALLOWED!" - if the horde casts Zombie Apocalypse and has no zombie cards in its graveyard, the players lose X life, where X = 5x#ofPlayers.
8 ) "Clearly his fault" - the player who successfully kills or exiles the Havegul Runebinder may draw a card. We all know this was his doing. Good job, you got the jerk!

To sign up, pm me or post here! Since there is a max player limit to keep things a challenge, to give everyone a chance, I'll be using an "on deck" queue system. 4 players at a time, and additional players will be signed up to join the next available game.
Once 4 players are signed up, we start! Players may want to include times and days that they are able to be active, for the least waiting between turns. I am always most active between 5pm - 5am EST (Fitting, zombies come out at night!

Can I use eggs?
i think that falls under the catagory, fast easy infinite combos
Also, while I like eggs, I want this to last. I want to be on the brink of death and still hanging in there, doing my best to stay alive

Indeed. Rule #1, Mlerner. Rule #1. If you want to actually have a fun experience with this, play a normal deck. If you want to show off and strut like a rooster with banned super-combos, you'll have to do that at your lgs or a friend's house in a game that doesn't ruin 3 other people's fun
In addition, I'm adding a banned list (will edit above). Quite simply, "whatever format your deck is legal in (Legacy, Modern, or Commander), adhere to that format's official banned list for your deck. No cards are banned from standard-legal decks." That sound fair to everyone?

You don't need to keep track of your individual life totals, since you all share one, btw. At 20 per player, and 4 players, your team is sitting pretty at 80 life, 2HG style.
Just in case I'm not on when when Mlerner takes his first turn...
