Well. Like 4-6 months ago, I actually was setting up a trade. It was my foiled domri rade for his foiled obzedat. I really liked that trade and said sure. He asked if I could send first and I asked him why not send at the same time. He declined that and wouldn't answer back. (This was when we had kik)

I'm not sure if your situation applies, you pulled quite the stunt with your most recent trades.

Ok but even though I did that, I actually come fourth on the trial, unlike some people. I should have a right to speak my story as much as you guys do, even though I did screw some people over
I think a trustworthy trader rating could be valuable. If the karma and trustworthiness of the users who rated the trades was listed by their rating it would help me decide how viable the rating really is. For example, if Joe-user got an untrusted trader mark but then right below it i saw it was from Kuberr who has -54 karma and 12 untrusted trader marks, it would erase most of my worry. We have a pretty good handle on who the "Richards" are around here.
And furthermore, a few negative feedbacks on ebay or tcgplayer sellers never stopped me from using those sellers. The one time I used I guy who had lots of negative feedback, I got screwed. I learned not to trust them after that. Those ratings systems have served me well. I think one here would do the same.
Maybe it could be locked much like how we can't mark karma until 200 posts or so. That would be about the best way to prevent trolls and false accounts

Not sure if this helps a lot but I've had a few trades with him, all ended fine-ish. My last trade earlier this year with him I ended up waiting an extra month or so for my card, a Chandra, and it was creased. I didn't bother fighting about it just because I was happy a card ever showed. All other trades (probably 3 others) were fine
Of all my trades going sour of the past months I'm glad this was it, relatively cheap stuff for one card. 3 weeks he has my end and I've got nothing in return and he's dodging my messages.
