Creativity Contest II. - Duels of Planeswalkers

Hi guys,
It's been a week since the first creativity contest and I decided to throw a new one with slightly different rules. I hope there will be more attendants and I will also give you more time for writing because the goal is more difficult.

Rules of the contest:
1, Attendants will create two decks. The deck will be modern format legal and fairly competitive. The deck-lists must contain at least one Planeswalker each.
2, Then they will write a story containing at least 50% of card names from each of the deck-lists, the Planeswalkers must be main characters of their stories. The story can refer also to cards that are not in decklist. The story must have some form and spirit. The story must be at least 1000 words long. Stories that will not meet limit of 1000 words, or ratio of used card names or Planeswalker rule will be rejected. The decklists that would even remotely remind me any official WotC Duels of Planeswalkers decklist will be rejected as well. Remember the contest is about creativity...
3, Attendants will PM or email (whitedrake@me.com; subject = Creativity Contest - Nickname) me the story with decklist, decklist can be either attached to the mail or inserted as a plain text in PM. Stories delivered in different way will not be considered and accepted to the contest
4, Jury (me, my wife - she is teaching English and my friend who writes stories for children) will pick 3 best stories (5 with ten or more attendants) and post them here.
5, Forum members will vote for winner.

The contest (writing part) starts now and ends 31/july 2013 20:00 CET. The three best stories will be announced on 3/august 2013 20:00 CET and voting for the winner will end on 7/august 2013 20:00 CET

Of course it would not be a contest if there would be no prizes. Prizes for winner besides of fame and social credit are these two foil full alter art cards:

Also some nice random foil cards from my mystery box. As last time I will make all foil booster re-pack (1R, 3U, 10C, land and possibly non-foil token)

There could be more prizes if there will be more attendants. All depends on you. If there will be 10 or more attendants there will be prizes for 1^st-3^rd place.

So, when you say 50%, let's say you have 10 different cards, but you have 4 of each in the deck.  You'd only have to use 5 of the 10.

You are correct in your assumption... Counts card names in deck lists not number of cards in deck...

I love these contests, do the planeswalkers have to nessicarily face each other storywise?

I am not sure if I do understand the question.,. You must build your story around at least two planeswalkers ( each from different decklist )... In theory there is no need that the PWs would be enemies in your story... They can be allies...

Just wanted to pop in and add that I will be adding some prize support for the "top 3"

I'm thinking of tossing a shock land to first place, and some fun bulks 2nd and 3rd. Nothing official yet, but I will be giving goodies.

mhmm that's hard to tell... but if it would be really good standard deck that would be modern legal I would possibly accept it...
