I can see that for Artemis maybe.

Artimus could be Nissa.  Elves are usually archers.  And Artimes's followers could be like the mass of elves

red is about emotions. She invokes certain emotions in people (the goddess of love)

Red is also passion and emotion. Why does everyone forget that?

True. Though she did develope real feelings for Jace

I doubt the "Gods" will be represented by planeswalkers  but rather crazy amazing legendary creatures. And maybe their "Zeus" could be a crazy awesome new planeswalkers  probably released in the last expansion of the block. Like karn in the latest Mirrodin block   But I'm down for anything.

Aphrodite wasn't always that virtuous. Married to Hephaestus by Zeus and Hera, she then slept with ares and was caught and displayed in midst of the act by the lame good himself. Not am insult, this is how he's referenced in mythology.

Lame meaning his leg is deformed, which if I remember correctly happened when Hera threw him off Olympus as a baby because he was ugly
