For the board wiping, there's some aura that gives your guy phasing. Can't remember what it's called. Also, you should bump up necropotence in your fetch list. With 40 life at your disposal, necropotence (often said to be one of the best mtg cards in existence) is twice as good. Nobody ever said that about Steel of the Godhead. Even though I do love that card. It's in my Geist of Saint Traft EDH deck.

It is in my fetch list. I just wait until my guy is protected and I have emphyrial armor attached before I grab necro

Oh man this has been so good to me. I love it. It's so good now I only play it when someone is winning to much to bring things bak down to playability if u can take out zur edited his first swing you almost never can
