Yeah I really like  Borborygmos Enraged here, not to mention he's a nice beat stick with trample.

Cool deck. I love reanimator too, especially Unburial Rites!

Slight side note: when referring to Abrupt, did you mean to say it could wipe out a land?

Thanks! Aaand oops, I had a brain fart on abrupt decay. Thanks for pointing it out!

Hmm, I find it a very solid read. I would appreciate some match up analysis, but other than that I like it. Great work!

Thank you! I wrote this to test the waters and see it would be received. In my future articles, I will definitely include match ups.

Sure. You certainly do have potential. If this is something you enjoy, then keep at it and I am sure you will only improve. You are off to an excellent start.

Yeah, I used to write a ton via being a nerdy loner in high school and later taking every English class under the sun in college. I've been slacking off with it for the last two years, and saw this as a good opportunity to ease myself back into writing on a regular basis. Again, thank you for the encouraging words.

There's more things I'd rather be doing on T2 and T3, such as grisly salvage, abusing deathrite shaman, dropping lotleth troll,  flashing back faithless looting, or dropping a centaur healer.

So, as a question for a reanimator deck, start of game draw a god hand, and able to reanimate T1 would you go for an it that betrays or griselbrand? As you can tell I'm thinking outside of standard.

I'd go with griselbrand because you could immediately draw 14 cards and drop more creatures into the graveyard at the end step. I don't see it that betrays being incredibly beneficial on T1.

Hahaha come T2, your opponent would be pissed if you chose It That Betrays.

"I play a land"
"Swing.  Thanks for the land"

I realy think 2 Angel of Serenity is realy important in a rites deck, it's just an all out bomb and is just amazing.
