Deck Builder

Deck Builder is a tool to organise and keep track of your decks, as well as check stats on it, share with friends or the community or simply playtest it with an hypothethical hand pull. It also allows you to manage decks concisely together with your collection, with functions involving [[Magic Binders|binders]] and virtual shops. As with any cards list view on the app, it supports both the [[Slide card list view]]  as well as [[Scroll card list view]]. Supports one deck in the free version, upgradable to unlimited with purchase of [[Unlimited Decks]]. It has sideboard function.

== Decks ==
It is the screen shown after you open Deck Builder. It displays all decks saved on your device. Clicking on a deck will bring you to the [[#decklist]] screen. Edit mode allows [[Import from iTunes]], [[Import from Dropbox]] and New Deck. New Deck will let you create a new decklist, and will direct you to the ne deck's[[Deck Builder#Settings|settings]] screen. Clicking a deck while in edit mode also gets you to the deck's settings screen. The list is grouped by format and can be sorted manually under edit mode.

== Settings ==
Each deck have settings configured individually. Settings are accessed through Edit>Page Turning Button(bottom right of the screen), or from decks list in edit mode. Settings are:
*Name: The name of your deck. Also the name of the thread it can be started with in Gathering.
*'Format: depicts in which format the deck is meant to be played, as well as legalities and in which [[Gathering#Decks|Gathering section]] it can be posted.
*Filter by Format: it is a switch to choose wether the search engine should filter only cards legal in the format choosen when using the 'Add Card' feature.
*[[Binders]]: if any [[Binders|binder]] is selected, the search engine will only show cards listed in the selected [[Binders|binder(s)]]. Useful for searching only cards you have, but flexible to more refined filterings.
*[[My Precious]]: Its supposed to limit the cards shown for adding to the deck to those present in your Magic Binders which were set to My Prsss.
*[[Needed]]: Its supposed to limit the cards shown for adding to the deck to those present in your Magic Binders which were set to Needed.
*Notes: simple text box for annotating anything you want. Could appear after the decklist in [[Gathering]], if posted to. Once in a deck, a card will appear with a red name instead if a black one, indicating that it is not legal in the chosen format.

== Decklist ==
The decklist screen is the screen where you can see the actual deck. It supports both the [[Slide Card List View]]  as well as [[Scroll Card List View]].

=== [[Simple Card List View]] ===
In portrait orientation it displays a [[Scroll Card List View]] of  the cards in the deck, grouped as 'Lands', 'Creatures', 'Spells' and 'Sideboard'. The order of the cards within each categorie can be manually edited under Edit mode. Clicking a card will get you to the [[Card Page]] and under edit mode one click will open a quick number/sideboard edit, and a second click will open the [[Card Page]]. The additional options under normal mode are:
*[[Sample Draw]]: let's you test your pulls with the decks, useful fo testing combos and synergy.
*Statistics: mana and lands statistics.
*Gravity: visual interface of  the mana symbols in the deck. May help visualize the mana distribution in the deck.
*Facebook: share your decklist in a Facebook post.
*Mail: send your decklist as a text and .dec file using native iOS Mail app's settings.
*[[Gathering]]: Share your deck in [[Gathering]]. If it was already posted there by you, it will simply update the same post instead of creating a new one.
*Add Missing to [[Binders|Binder]]: adds cards of the deck which are not already in a binder of your choice to the binder.
*Clone Deck: Creates another deck with the same settings and cards as this one.
*Buy [[Needed]] (shopping cart at the bottom left): buys cards in the decklist which are also in your [[Needed]] list from [http://wwww.tcgplayer.com TCG player]. Prices for the whole decklist is shown right of the button. Note that this price ain't the price of the decklist/[[Needed]] match, it is the price of every card in the decklist. It is fetched from [http://wwww.tcgplayer.com TCG player], and organized as lowest, average and highest price available in TCG.
The additional options under edit mode are:
*Add Card Through [[Card Scanner|Scanner]] (bottom left camera): Uses the [[Card Scanner]] to add a card you own to the decklist.
*Add Card Through Search (mid-bottom + button): add cards using the search enine. Has filters and format filters.
*Settings (Page peeling button on bottom right): changes the [[Deck Builder#Settings]]

=== [[Flow Card List View]] ===
When in landscape orientation, the cards are displayed in this mode. They are ordered in the same order as settable in portrait mode. Clicking a card will display the default [[Slide Card List View#Action Menu|action menu]] used in coverflow view. The bottom bar options are equal to the portrait view in both normal and edit mode.
