No. rest in peace /ley line of the void says if a card goes to the graveyard, it's exiled instead. Replacement effect. The helm says to continue milling until X cards are put in your graveyard. No cards make it to the graveyard so the deck is endlessly milled. Cheapest win con I've ever seen. Helm should be next on the banned list (I hope).
Someone wanna explain to me this combo with helm of obedience and rip cuz I'm not seeing it, and even at that, what seems to be implied would make rip/leyline an loop with any card that says put x cards in graveyard

The thing that makes it keep milling is the fact that it makes you continue milling UNTIL the condition is met (the condition being X cards or a creature going to the grave). Once that condition is met, the effect can end. Since no cards can go to the graveyard, the condition can never be met and the card's effect keeps going on. Cards that just say "mill X cards" like Increasing Confusion or Glimpse the Unthinkable wouldn't keep going, since it doesn't care whether or not those cards actually hit the graveyard, like the helm does.
Got a couple kiki-jiki, mirror breaker+pestermite, mycosynth lattice+darksteel forge, mycosynth lattice+memnarch, niv-mizzet, the firemind+either curiosity, ophidian eye or tandem lookout to stay in the same colors, and time sieve+thopter assembly
Corpsejack Menace + Primordial Hydra is a fun one! Was majorly losing then came back pretty strongly to win. Same friend a few games later used Isochron Scepter + Redirect on me which was just all my nope especially since I was using an enchantment heavy deck.
