What do people think about playing in a league on cockatrice? We could keep records and maybe figure out something for prizes? I think it could be fun, even just 1 match per week or whatever. (I posted this in general for maximum viewing purpose)

Each Wednesday pairings will be posted. You have until Sunday night to contact your opponent via PM for time and play that game before Monday. You must play your opponent before Monday Morning. You can play your game as soon as the pairings are posted. We are using Cockatrice. The winner will PM me with the following information: Decks used by each person and what the score of the match was i.e. CV MBC vs. Cltrn81 Mono Green Walls 3-0. Yes that's right we will be playing best of 5. Monday morning after the Weekends matches, I will update a post with the standings. I will also announce each change in format that day. Currently most people are playing Standard so it will probably be standard primarily. I don't care what decks you use as long as they are format legal. If you want to change your deck on a weekly basis, feel free to.
Scoring of Matches will be: 3 points for a win, 0 for a loss, and 1 for a draw. There is no time limit for these matches since this isn’t a tournament. We are playing 5 games how can it end in a draw? Go to the rulebook for that.
Cheating: if you are caught cheating, you will receive -3 points and have to sit out a week (suspension). If you have 2 instances of cheating you will not be allowed to play within the league. Cheating includes not being honest about triggers happening and yes you and your opponent are both responsible for life counts. Full rulebook of MTG applies here. Don’t manipulate your opponent if they are new.
This is supposed to be fun! Let’s not get mad at each other.
