Can you tell me why? I just can't figure out when he's better than Chapel Geist, other than the mana versatility. Voiceless Spirit is 2W and chapel is 1WW.

Voiceless Spirit can beat up a Hero of Oxid Ridge   

You're undervaluing first strike. Boost him with equipment and he's bad. (Bad = good)
