Age?

I started collecting pokemon cards when it first came out, then evetually moved into yugioh, collected then played conpetively for a year and sucked quit an sold out all my yugioh and got into this card game called duel masters, played conpetitively and did well untill the game died out and i quit all card games till my friends got me into magic when i was 18 and started playing when zendikar came out and now im 20 and kicking ash in every format but legacy lol

Started with urza's block, and never stopped. True love!

I started playing when Ice age came out. I can remember when jester's cap was the hot card to have. Then stopped playing when kamigawa came out. Just started again with dark accession. Goodness I feel old!!!

I have turned 14, am loving high school, and started a year ago. I have quit standard forever and moved in to legacy 😉

lol my brother was playing around Alpha time, and he quit and got rid of all his cards for very cheap.  I recently told him how much some of that stuff is worth now.  He was pretty pissed

Is it wierd that i started last year when i was 11? Or am i just the only 12 year old on this forum?

I started when I was 11 with the portal release in '97 been playing off and on with every block since... Best birthday gift ever, the love of a game that's still going 15 years later

I'm 36.  I played from unlimited to masques.  Quit for a decade.  Kept my cards.  Started up again with scars.  Pissed I quit.  I missed so many good sets.

26 but played around the same time, came back for dark ascension.

Started in ice age block, quit with the beebles, came back in mirrodin. Just turned 30...again...lol

Started in revised. I'm 31 now.
On again, off again relationship.

Started in 1995 at the tail end of revised. Revised starter decks were $20 when I started and the "new" 4th edition was only $10. Limited funds as a 13 year old meant I missed out on dual lands. Packs of Legends were $10 so I bought chronicles, mistake 2. Then I played until Exodus came out and quit until finding Magic online in 2005. I'm 30 now, I still have all my original cards and have spent $3,000 in the last few months getting my paper collection back up to snuff.  My wife is embarrassed that I play it but I'll be damned if it ain't the finest game ever made.

Started 1994 as a 12 yrs old with revised... Quit with urza's saga and returned with Return to Ravnica...

I feel old now. I've been playing since Magic first started.
