Lord Of Darkness

This works against non-white creature- based decks, elves is just the first that comes to mind.

Gideon Jura + Norn's Annex

Kinda conditional but it's always fun to force an opponent to suicide...

BlackJester

Bombo.  Opponent's can always chose not to pay and prevent their creatures from attacking.  Sorry.   :-\

Thorn

What about {Norn's Annex} and {Curse of the Nightly Hunt}

Lord Of Darkness

Well to my understanding if something forces an attack and another effect makes the attacking creature's controller pay life then even if the player doesn't have the life to pay they still have to. If I'm wrong then please leave a link with the correct rulings, that's just how I understand it

Maximo

Leave standard and you get {lightmine field}.

BlackJester

Well, it's under the card rulings, but here's the text.

508.1d The active player checks each creature he or she controls to see whether it's affected by any requirements (effects that say a creature must attack, or that it must attack if some condition is met). If the number of requirements that are being obeyed is fewer than the maximum possible number of requirements that could be obeyed without disobeying any restrictions, the declaration of attackers is illegal. If a creature can't attack unless a player pays a cost, that player is not required to pay that cost, even if attacking with that creature would increase the number of requirements being obeyed.

I can tell you're new to the forums. with only two posts you have already challenged the jester our resident rules master. You'll see him in the forum cleaning up all the misunderstandings in this forum.

Because it has not been done yet.

This case is resolved.

Hey now!  I want everyone here, new and old to feel free to question my calls. I can (and do) make mistakes and questioning means that I need to add more detail because it's not clear, or I am geniunely wrong.

Confirmed means a high degree of confidence in the answer provided.

Welcome to iMtG! 😄

I feel free. Jester, I'm questioning your statement of modesty. Meaning, you are Always Right. Except when you called {Midnight Guard} {Midnight Watch}🔨

And when he said that if a commander is exiled it is exiled and cannot go to the commander zone....yes I remember that lol

Oh and I think once he made a sundial combo that didn't work. But he was the one who later discovered it doesn't work so I dunno...:0

BlackJester

Are we just spamming this thread since its a Bombo?

Why don't we just start a new thread called "BlackJester's Follies"?  😂
