I need some ideas to finish this deck out. As you can see I need 9 more cards to get to 60 and I would like some ideas for a sideboard as well thanks everyone.

Kaleo42

Finally someone else!
Ok first off lose the {unburial rites}. You have {havengul lich} and {heartless summoning} there is no need for rites.
Second lich is kinda weak by himself so i think four is over the top.
Third why no infinite combo? {priest of urabrask} is easy to find. If you really want white though, {sun titan}, {dead weight}, and {auramancer} are good cards to run. Oh and dont forget {spellskite}.
Would you like me to bump the heartless decks ive been winning with so you can maybe get some ideas from them?

Thattallguy

Hell yeah. I would like to take this deck to an fnm soon. Never been to one and I have been playing casually for about a year now with some friends.

Kaleo42

Both just got bumped, heartburn is my current version, and game day champ is when the deck finally had it's kinks worked out and i had taken this archetype down to a science.
Champ is the old blue version that focused on early game tap and stall and clone to beat face. 3 {frost titans} were how i usually ended a game.
To keep up with the meta i took the idea and made it more red and anti creature to insure i dont die before i set up for the kill. Also it combos much easier and faster.

Sad Robot ({Solemn Simulacrum}) is good here.
{Myr Superion} is a free 4/5 with {Heartless Summoning} on the table.  Pitch fodder with Lily and Alchemy.

My lich deck is Grixis ({U}{B}{R}) and runs the infinite combo too, along with {R}s new "discard/draw" spells to dig for your pieces while loading your grave.  Protection for your lich might not be a bad idea either: {Mana Leak}s, {Negates}, {Swiftfoot Boots}...

This is the first deck I ever plaid against in magic ( slytly different version)

Kinda odd one to start with. Usually people start with more generic aggro if they start with conpetitive players, and janky big beats or burn in casual circles.

HandsomeStallion

Lose the rites, fix your mana curve.
Run {Mikaeus, the Unhallowed}
Combo kill
3 {Heartless Summoning}
1 {Havengul Lich}
1 {Mikaeus, the Unhollowed}
1 {Perilous Myr}
That's 4 points with 1 mana!

What's fodder?
And by pitch you mean get rid of?

Pitch meaning discard and fodder in this case is a big guy that you get rid of but because of the deck build it will help you out.

Ive been playing many different forms of heartless for a long time now and have found that relying on lich, combo, or graveyard leads to a 3-2 record at best (LGS does 5 rounds). Relying more on an overwhelming number of large threats that do something to level or tip the scales in your direction and cloning them for cheap to quickly over power your opponent is far more effect, but having both methods of victory present is a must.

Thattallguy

I was just going through my cards and thought about adding {black cat} in this deck in place of the {perilous myr}. I know the myr is a free guy and is basically a free 2 damage but in a way the black cat is basically free and it forces an opponent to discard and that means more creatures to choose from with the havengul lich out assuming they are playing any color I am playing with.

Kaleo42

Black cat is decent, but perilous myr's ability to machine gun creatures planeswalkers and players is way more valuable.
