This is by far my favorite deck as of late and I'd love to hear comments and criticism on it.

ðŸ'

Maybe some card drawing?  Any morbid cards fit here?

MacUser001

Card drawing is covered pretty well with the {Solemn Simulacrum}s and the {Bloodgift Demon}s. But Morbid is a good idea. I'll look in to some and in the mean time feel free to post any that jump out at you.

Sheoldred and Glissa give card advantage with the graveyard too.

BlackJester

Yeah, I think you have card advantage covered, although I usually see {Solemn Simulacrum} as card replacement than drawing, IMO. I missed the {Bloodgift Demon}, he should do the trick. I like Glissa, but her card advantage is pretty conditional.

Still, I'd play this deck as is.

Check out the Heartless Summoning builds at MTGSalv.

Glissa and the Perilous can be a board sweeper for smaller creatures with Heartless out. Not too hard to do but it doesn't apply to most decks.

As for looking at MTG Salvation, I'm sure Piotr has no problem with you sending people to other forums, hehe. Yeah I'll take a look at them when I get the chance.

I just thought I'd mention a couple neat things that happened yesterday at FNM too.

Got two {Massacre Wurm}s turn 5 for the win. See {Phyrexian Metamorph}.
Got {Sheoldred, Whispering One} turn 4 with an {Acidic Slime} the following turn to get rid of the extra Summoning that allowed this. Was a quick game after that.

Lost to a WW which was just too quick each time having multiple {Champion of The Parish}s out. And then to a {Kessig Wolf Run} deck with {Inkmoth Nexus}. And clearly this deck has plenty to deal with that, especially after sideboarding, but I didn't pull anything and his first two lands were the Inkmoths. Overall 8th of 20 and I was quite happy with myself.

Thanks for saying this, man. Makes me feel good about this deck. Because though I'm sure it's very similar to a lot of the deck builds out there, I didn't use a single bit of help to create it.

Good stuff!  And congrats!  Although, I don't know how much stock I'd put in my opinion when it comes to competitive Standard. 😁. You know, seeing as how I don't play.

You'll probably want to sideboard in instant speed kill for {Blinkmoth Nexus} decks, considering you can't target it on your turn. Or {Ghost Quarters}. I'll look at your sideboard again, but {Go for the Throat} would be my choice. Once this deck gets set up, it should be a tank.

MacUser001

I've considered Ghost Quarters. But I do have sideboard instant kill for the Inkmoths. {Plummet}.

I've seen {phantasmal image} played in these decks it might be something to look at

Appleguru56

Not bad, but from what I see, this deck lacks other spells. It has no removal, only creatures and heartless summoning. Also, it seems that this deck must have heartless summoning to be effective, perhaps this can be changed.

MacUser001

If you actually look at what all of the creatures do, you'll see there really is a lot of removal. And it isn't necessary to have Heartless at all, but it does run slower then. There is a very large amount of mana ramp in this deck and can be quick either way.

Appleguru56

The point is that there are no instant speed removals.
