Yeah. Both of the challenge cards deal with artifacts in your graveyard, {liquimetal coating} only effects permanents. So if your opponent has 0 artifacts, you have a 0/0 creature and a card that deals 0 damage to target creature or player.

But it is only until end of turn making it a permanent destruction deck.

I was thinking more along the lines of {Faithless Looting} {Panic Spellbomb} {Kuldotha Pheonix} {Kuldotha Rebirth}.

Permanent destruction makes sense but your only win-con becomes {hoard-smelter dragon} who is susceptible to removal.
