This is why I chose to delve into legacy over modern. Modern just seems like a No Fun Club with its banned/restricted list.

More like No Jund Club.  It's the perfect environment for Johnnys like me.

Legacy doesn't have to be expensive. The land base sure, but you can use Shocks and Tap lands like Modern.

The only problem is typically (not always, however) legacy is super expensive.  When my modern deck is finished, it'll be about $560, I think is what the app said.  It seems like a lot of legacy decks can start at $1000 and just go up.  Damn manabase.

Yah, it can definitely get expensive. But I don't plan on being super competitive, so im cool with using shocklands and the other pain lands ({underground river}, {ardakar wastes}, etc. Don't really know the proper term for those.) That UB Reanimator deck that I posted in the legacy section is right under $200 I believe.

Wizards is making Modern no fun. Every time an archtype gets good, they ban it's staple cards. How about we just unban {Bitterblossom} and {Wild Nacatl} so Zoo and Faeries can compete :l

Exactly. It makes more sense to print answers in new sets instead of trying to ban every fun card ever.

Yuuya ruined it. He top 8 every tournament he played in. When great players make broken decks it usually draws DCIs attention.

Edit: Gotta think about the money side of this too, He won a lot of cash prizes playing that deck. I'm not saying it will happen, but if someone dominates a format like that, the government could get involved and ask "what is going on this game "Magic"?" There is money on the line afterall.

Double Edit: and nothing is as bad as CAW Blade was. It was like 70%-90% of the Decks at its worst.

Every Jund deck looks the same or similar in most of the bog tournaments..  So boring to watch people play Jund.

Won't the unrestricted Legacy players just kill it for everyone? I run 4 {Sol Rings} in my power casual, for instance...
