When {Caged Sun} say whenever a lands ability adds one or more mana.  Does this mean basic land or special lands?

Does not have to be basic in this instance, a dual land or any other non basic producing that color mana will add 2.  Now {nikirna revenant} has a similar ability but it specifically says swamps so in that instance it would only apply to basic land swamps.
