Okay, so, everything began with Urza and Mishra. Two brothers who would often help each other a lot! Urza was the more booksmart type of guy. Mishra was more of a worker. He was much bigger than urza but they respected each other just the same. They split up to do their own things once they get older and much lead a much different life. They come tO hate each other during the course of their seperation. Which, in a nutshell, becomes an all out war. Mishra opens up a "portal" to Phyerixia where he makes a wager with the "dark lords". Which in turn is the end of the both of them.

Anyways, hundreds of years later A man named Jodah appears to learn magic, which was restricted by the church of Tal. They police the country and the city states. They're ultimately whipes out after hundreds of years. The story picks back up with Jodah being thousands of years old and he is basically immortal. He is greeted by a necromancer named Lim-Dul. Jodah ends up kidnapped in lim-dulls fortress and escapes with our friendly planeswalker {Jaya Ballard, task mage}. Not yet a planeswalker anyways. She has to revive Jodah because he could go mad with this poisen. So she calls forth the planeswalker Freyalise to help aid him. After realizing she owes Jodah a debt for helping her find her spark, she agrees to help him.

Yada yada ect ect. Jodah transcends with Freyalise to stay with her by her side.

(I missed the thran, but I can't remember if it was before or after urza and mishra.)

Anyways, there's a lot more, but that's pretty much the start of it.

Lol.

I think making up lore isn't the same.

If in wrong, show me in which novel does it describe everything you're talking about.

apocalypse urza sacrifices his spark to karn. karn becomes a planeswalker.

fifth dawn slobad uses glissas spark to revive her, neither are planeswalkers after this point.

So does Gerard kill urza then? As shown in {Phyrexian Arena}?

Do they still write or are they all web comics now?

Unfortunaty they do not write the novels anymore. Been years. Tey have some physical comic books that come with some promo cards, but I haven't read them, because they are all of the newer sets.

I read the first new comic book, it was cool. I feel like it moved a little slow for a comic book and would do better in a graphic novel setting at least.

So, where is urza during the ice age? Phyrexia? Because it was said he was either held there by the dark lords, or killed along with mishra in the devistation.

urza became a planeswalker after ice age. urza's decapitation is in a {phyrexian arena} during invasion. during apocalypse he powers karn who then destroys phyrexia for almost good, f---ing {glistening oil}
If not for the oil, we'd have no scars, besieged, or new phyrexia

Urza and Mishra feud started because they both want both pieces of a broken powerstone. Urza half was called the might stone and Mishra's was called the meek stone. These stones where used to lock yawgmoth in phyrexia back in the days of the Thran. When urza and Mishra removed the stone it allowed yawgmoth to be able to go back to dominaria. Mishra then was swayed by a phyrexian demon called Gix, and was in turn converted to a phyrexian machine.
Urza became a Planeswalker when he set off the sylex blast that ended the brothers war, then I think he spent a lot of time on other planes before comming back to dominaria.
