It's been spoiled (though I can't remember where exactly) that Jace will be returning in RtR.  Putting him next to Nivy seems to suggest an Izzet {U}{R} alliance, but Jace has always felt more Azorius {W}{U} to me than anything.  They are not going to put him in a guild that won't be in RtR, they'll want him to support a guild.  Yet another mono-{U} would make him more versatile, and I would hate that.  I'd LIKE to see him in Izzet, but it feels off to me.   

There were pics on Zendikar block with Sorin and Nissa together, but they shared no colors.  So I don't know how much weight the Niv connection should carry.

Yeah I do not think theu would make a Izzet Jace but I'm just sharing the information I have.
