Don't think this was my greatest moment but I LMAO. In one of our casual multiplier games I had a friend who hard cast {Emrykul, the Aeon Torn} and began to gloat. I let him wind down then tapped 5 Vamps and snatched him with {Captivating Vampire}. Sure he got a free turn but I got a Vamp Emmy!

Can you do that? Emmy has protection from spells, is it because capt. Vamp is an ability?

Had some time to think and remember some of the good ones now.
Casual elf mirror match with coat of arms on board. Somewhere around 800 elves in play with massive amounts of life each and he drops the forest walk chanmpion and attacks all out for the kill. I respond with {tangle}.
First ever tourny match i played ramp mill in zendikar+shards, got him to pull his last card but i had one life and no way to stop his vamp from swinging in the air. It was a good start to a competitive career even though i lost.
Second tourney after the TO helped out my deck with archive trap and some other cards, i added {telemin performance} to hold the place of the archive trap i was short on. I pulled it against a mass polymorph deck and hit {iona, shield of emeria} and named blue.

Yes, emrakul only has protection from colored spells. So colorless spells like {ghost fire} and any perminant such as o-ring or journey to nowhere or even gideon's lawkeeper can effect it.

It's a spell on the stack, but it doesn't target Emmy until it's a permanent on the battlefield.

It is a creature ability, which is not a spell. It works the same as if you were to use a {Blinding Mage} to simply tap him.  He didn't know that either at the time so he ignored it. No one has since.

Game #1
I was playing mill and I get off to an awesome start.  My opponent starts to get the advantage and he will swing for game next round with just 7 cards in his library.  I say "I will draw {glimpse the unthinkable} for game" he says "you wish".  I turn over the top card on my draw step and BAM it's glimpse!!!!

Game #2 same opponent different decks
I am playing affinity and again I am off to an awesome start and it looks like an early win.  He plays {pernicious deed} and wipes the board.  He has the advantage, swings with all and will swing for game next round....he is at 5 life.  I have just 5 land, 1 {mishras factory} and 3 arti lands and an island.  I say "I draw {cranial plating} and swing for game with mishras" he says "yea right".  On my draw step I turn over top card and BAM cranial plating!!!!

Shouldn't the percinous deed have destroyed your arti lands bc they are part artifact?

Recently well phyrexia draft. I went to a card shop for my first draft. I slow played for two reasons. 1 I wasn't exactly sure on all the rules.  2 I try to let my opponent think they are way smarter then me and more advanced then I am. I am slowly beating on him. I use that phyxrian artifact creature that spend red or phyrexian mana to power him up. I attack and he let's it thru. I sacrifice almost all my life to power it up for the kill. He is in disbelief. Looks at that card a few times in confusion.  Throwers his cards out and leaves the store.

Not really an epic moment for me alone but me and my friend playing almost mirror Aggro decks, mine was {W}{R} his was {B}{R}. Constant playing of haste creature and killing attackers. He edged me out but every creature in our decks saw play and nearly all of our removal was used. Total shootout.
