I hate when people get all uptight about their peeves

Coffee Vampire

A pet peeve, by definition, is something you get uptight about. Oh and I have another one!

When someone just takes a long time. I know it is good to consider your options but if you take too long I might consider some options of my own...like suicide lol

Mickey mouse

I hate it if the persons hands are dirty and then he touches my sleeves without the curtisy to even wipe his hands off

BlackJester

When someone grabs my cards without asking, it's like they put their hands in my pants' pockets.  "Oh, are these yours?  Don't mind if I do."

Leviathan

When people grab my cards without asking, asking "Can I take that back?", eating and playing at the same time, when someone cuts a card down just because it isn't good in standard, using really powerful decks to stomp on new players in casual games, SOMEONE WHO REFUSES TO NOT NETDECK, and a list of others longer than Apache Chief's loincloth.

Counterspells.
Definitely.  And when I play something big after being mana flooded and just having it taken by control cards.  I think my biggest pet peeve is just when people use blue decks...

Jake, Fart Sculptor

When someone you're playing says..."you should have done this..." especially when that person is known to lose nearly every game they play, especially when what you decide to do, wins the game.
Please just be quiet and take the beating.

Untap step. I know there's nothing to be done about it, since the game relies on tapping, but I think that the game could really benefit if it didn't involve so much tapping. It would faster, more intuitive and, IMO, fun. I realize this is a very fundamental part of Magic, and it's not like it destroys the experience of fun, but if I ever make a cardgame then it won't involve tapping/untapping to this degree.

Rass

When you win they tell you "your getting so lucky" or "I keep getting screwed because my deck isn't running right"

I usually, literaly, facepalm when i do mistakes but never take them back.
I usually let people go back on they're plays as long as it hasnt been too long since they called it. And i like when people read my cards, it just feels douchy to not let them see whats going down on the other side of town, if ya know what i mean.
And i keep my cards in sleeves so unless they start bending and such then im going to be pretty chill.
To stay on topic: When "good" players go all arogant on your ass. F@ck you, im learning!

Quackmaster5

My biggest pet peeve is how everyone in my meta likes to point out that I do things "lefty". Tap to the left, my library to the left, my graveyard to the left and I always place my hand down to the left of my battlefield. Arg!!!

Also, I don't mind people touching my cards. If it doesn't effect what I'm doing, who cares? Just a way for everyone to learn more. And I always ask to see them but I don't mind if someone just looks.

Also, I agree with the counterspells....my friend has a 80-90 card deck with 40 counters in there. I always tell him he has to tell me before playing it so i can play a deck i really dont care for and so I don't flamethrower his deck!

I have wired pet peeves, so I don't often arc up about them:

•Not tapping or untapping completely, so cards are at a diagonal and all at different angles

•Card sleeve colours not matching the deck colours

•people complaining about the cards I play (I've played for YEEEEAAAARS and often new players hate me playing old school dominance), if you don't like it, don't play outside FNM.

•People complaint about control or counterspell. Why not just complain about life gain, can trip, mana ramp or token gen, they're all just as unfair. If you don't have the skills, tactics or sportsmanship to loose (or even win) gracefully, don't play!!!

•telling me art from another set is better. WHOOOOOOO CAAAAARES!!! I like this art or flavour, that's why I put it in.

... and that's it for now. Lol
