It takes away from the mill aspect of the deck, again, it has to subtle, it's an alt-wincon.

I know =/ {Crucible of Worlds} works as a pretty sick replacement though, and {Hedron Crab} likes it.

I ran a Station deck and used {March of the Machines} and {Mycosynth Lattice} to deprive everyone of lands, then used my artifact mana base to finish the Stations.  *EVIL*!   

Or just pummeled everyone with 6/6 Lattices and stuff.
