In an effort to make core sets appealing to us old dogs, they are adding small new themes to them now (Illusions, Bloodthirst).  They are trying to keep multi-colored spells lower to keep things simple for newer players and to make it more special when they DO multi-colored spells.  Besides, with Rav coming up, it wouldn't surprise me to see one or two multi-colored spells in M13.

Plus, there were plenty of mono-colored inhabitants of Shards.

Think we will ever see Storm again?

I wouldn't say never, but it was a VERY high powered mechanic that lead to some brokenness.  I don't know if they can bring it back in a way that would be less powerful without ticking off old timers.  Maybe.

As long as it never made it on to a finisher card (I.e. {Grapeshot}/{Tendrils of Agony}) I could see it being doable. Only time will tell.

I am just happy to see exalted.  I think it is going to help mono black builds that focus on keeping the creature count on the BF low by controling the board and focuses on one big cheap flyerl like {demonic taskmaster} or {demonlord of ashmouth} to be the main beater.

They better reprint {torpor orb} tho.

Clearmario

They brought back {vampire nocturnus}

Your right!! He isnt scary if im controlling him :p "Exile Creature you control." yes theres easier ways to deal with it. Just the Hydra Ascetism combo just...ugh....
